A LIFELONG CREATIVE PURSUIT

Born and raised on Boston's South Shore, Seth's relationship with art began early. From childhood drawings to sketching aboard the ferry to Nantucket, making art was a constant presence in his life, shaped by a lasting fascination with the colors, textures, and rhythms of the world around him.

He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Skidmore College and continued his artistic studies at Boston's Museum School. His education included studying with artist Carroll Dunham, whose influence contributed to the development of Seth's creative perspective.

Over time, Seth developed a visual language that balances meticulous craftsmanship with spontaneity, expressive color with thoughtful composition, and sophisticated execution with an unmistakable sense of play.

His work moves comfortably between abstraction and representation, finding artistic possibility in subjects as varied as marine life, cartography, geometric forms, and everyday objects.
